Conversational English Program
Our Conversational English Program is here to help connect you with one-on-one English support.
How it works: When you join the program, our Program Coordinators will get to know you and then match you with a volunteer from the community. Together, you and your volunteer will meet for 1-2 hours a week. The meetings will happen at a coffee shop, a library, or online. You will meet with the same volunteer weekly for about 4 months.
You can talk about many topics, including the English language, living and working in Waterloo Region, the Canadian education system, or social or community resources and events. Please check if you are eligible for this program by clicking the button below.
